Accessibility
A process that makes room for you.
Reading and navigating
The website uses resizable text, a responsive layout, labelled controls, a skip link and visible keyboard focus. The planner offers both a calendar and a date list. Use your browser’s text enlargement or zoom controls, and choose the date list if the calendar grid is difficult to use.
Communication and participation
Tell the practice what would make the conversation more accessible: a written agenda, breaks, a different pace, an accessible document format or an agreed support person. Describe the functional need; a detailed medical history is not needed to start that conversation.
Planning supports
Discuss interpretation, support people and other participation arrangements before a session. Any third-party role, confidentiality requirement and associated cost should be agreed in advance. Arrangements must also take account of safety and meaningful participation.
Reporting a barrier
Record the page name, the action you were attempting and what happened. Email support@battickmediation.ca with that information and ask for an alternative way to complete the task. No formal accessibility certification is claimed.
